College World Series Ticket Information

from NCAASports.com

Fans wanting to attend the College World Series have the opportunity to purchase three types of tickets - Box seats, Reserved seats and General Admission (GA). For ease of explanation we will talk about box/reserve seats as one category and general admission (GA) as a different category.

Reserved/Box Seat Tickets:
A limited number of single session tickets will be sold through Ticketmaster at 10 a.m. CDT, Saturday, April 26, 2003. Tickets may be purchased through www.ticketmaster.com or calling your local Ticketmaster charge-by-phone number. Tickets are available for games played June 13-18 and are expected to sell out early April 26. There will be no advance sale of championship tickets. Due to a change in format, no games are scheduled for Friday, June 20.

Once the College World Series begins, a limited number of reserve seats are available on a daily basis at the Rosenblatt Stadium Box Office. Walk-up orders only. No phone orders will be accepted. Box Office opens at 9 a.m. each day. Tickets sold in the morning are for the games later that same day.

General Admission (GA) Tickets:
General admission (GA) tickets are non-guaranteed seats in the right outfield and left outfield bleachers. The approximate capacity is 5,400 for these aluminum, bench-style seats with seat backs. GA tickets are not designated for a specific session or date and these seats are available on a first-come, first served basis. As long as the ticket holder arrives early enough to be seated, the tickets are good for any games, including the championship.

GA ticket books contain 10 tickets and are available for sale through the College World Series ticket office 402/554-4404 after April 1, 2003. The last date GA ticket books may be ordered is to be determined. GA tickets also may be purchased at Rosenblatt's box office for $7 each.

Based on availability, GA tickets may be upgraded to reserve seats by paying the difference in price between a reserved and GA ticket. Upgrades are available at the Rosenblatt Box Office for day of game only.

Ticket prices (excluding the championship series):
Box seats: $21 single session (June 13-18)
Reserved seats: $16 single session (June 13-18)
General Admission (GA): $7 single session or ticket book of 10 GA for $43 (includes shipping and handling)

Ticket prices (championship series):
Note: Details regarding the availability and sale date of championship series tickets will be forthcoming.
Any updates will be posted here. Please check back periodically.
Box seats: $29
Reserved seats: $23

Can't find tickets?

The reserved and box seats tend to sell out very quickly, and if Nebraska gets in to the College World Series the tickets will go ten times faster (remember Lincoln is only about an hour away). Unfortunately, ticket scalping is legal in Nebraska, so you will likely pay a high premium for hot tickets. This includes the championship series and games with popular teams, which always includes LSU. If you want to be cautious, try finding tickets on eBay using the form below.

Another option is general admission tickets. Because the tickets are good for any of the sessions, including the championship, general admission tickets are sold in abundant quantities and are usually readily available at or below face value. However, for popular games you will need to line up for entry at least an hour before the gates open. If you have more time than money, this is probably the option for you. Remember that these tickets may be upgraded should reserved tickets be available at the Rosenblatt Stadium Box Office, so even if you want reserved these tickets could serve as a good backup plan. Please note however that most reserved seats available through the box office on the day of the game are usually seats obstructed by a pole or the view is in some way blocked.
